$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gsasl 

gsasl is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gsasl package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gsasl *

You will get with gsasl package name, version, architecture and description in a table

gsasl package basic information:
